During the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, a little pig was buried under the ruins of Longmenshan village, Pengzhou, Chengdu. It was dug out after 36 days by eating charcoal and drinking rain. It survived miraculously. People named it "pig strong". According to surging reports, in the Jianchuan Museum in Sichuan Province, the "new home" of "pig strong" in the Wenchuan earthquake has been rearranged. Dozens of photos, pig trough and specimen base of "pig strong" have been presented. The specimens of "pig strong" are expected to stay before May 12**
According to public data, Zhu Jianqiang (2007-June 16, 2021), nicknamed 36 waer, was originally a big fat pig of Wan Xingming's family, a villager in Tuanshan village, Longmenshan Town, Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province. It was rescued 36 days after being buried under the ruins after the Wenchuan earthquake, so it was dubbed "pig Jianqiang"**
Since then, "pig strong" was bought by fan Jianchuan, curator of Jianchuan Museum, and raised in Jianchuan Museum, Dayi County, Chengdu, Sichuan.
At 10:50 p.m. on June 16, 2021, "pig strong" died of old age and exhaustion, and then was sent out to Jianchuan museum to make specimens.
