At the Star Wars Celebration, EA and Disney officially announced the Star Wars Jedi: survivors, which will be released in 2023 and available on PCs, ps5 and Xbox series x|s. This is a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: the fallen Samurai order. It is a third person narrative driven action adventure game. The story takes place in 2019, five years after the game.

Along with his reliable companions, Cal kestis, one of the only remaining Jedi Knights in the galaxy, must acquire new skills to develop his links with the force in order to be one step ahead of the Empire in its pursuit.
Stig Asmussen, director of Star Wars Jedi: the fallen Samurai order (former creative director of God of war 3), once again acted as the main creator of the sequel.
Stig Asmussen said:
"Even before the completion of Star Wars Jedi: falling order, our team had a vision for the sequel. For Star Wars Jedi: survivors, we are working closely with Lucas game to build on the basis of falling order.
We are using advanced technology to create more dynamic Jedi battles and cinematic narratives to expand Carl's story as he becomes more mature and survivable in the dark ages.
We can't wait to show the game world we created later this year. "
