Disney (DIS. US) is under investigation for a suspected corruption case. The FBI said Disney executives met with officials in Anaheim, California, where Disneyland is located, to try to influence public policy decisions It is understood that Carrie Nocella, Disney's director of foreign affairs, assisted in planning the meeting, but neither Disney nor Nocella has been charged with illegal acts.
"We believe we have acted in full accordance with the law and are ready to assist in the investigation," a Disney spokesman said
Earlier this year, Disney was deprived of autonomy by the Florida Senate for opposing restrictions on the discussion of LGBTQ in schools, which is Disney's second involvement in local politics this year.
