Apple held a developer party the day before WWDC started. The guests who went to Apple Park visited the new developer center. On Sunday, apple held an open day for the developer center in the apple orchard. Participants visited the first floor of the center. They were greeted by Caffe Macs' coffee and doughnuts, and the tourists were waved and cheered into the building by the staff wearing masks.
In a series of photos and videos shared by author and developer paulhudson on twitter, visitors can visit some rooms in the center. The design of the rooms and the visit itself are very interesting, and many elements are hidden for visitors to discover.
The room names in the building are taken from the MacOS version, including panther, tiger, leopard and El Capitan. These rooms themselves are described by Hudson as "Apple store specially set up for developers", which is full of large screens for various technology displays.
Easter eggs were scattered around the room, including coats that should have been provided to wwdc20 participants, but were received by the winners of the switch student challenge. On the whiteboard, there was a notice to check other information about Xcode, and it also mentioned "prototype dolphin", which is the symbol of some watchos versions.
Like the adjacent main building of Apple Park, the outside of the developer center is also made of glass. The lucky visitors were also taken to the Big Sur theater, which will be used for future demonstrations.
Gifts were also given at the scene, including a handbag, a swift hat and an Apple A kettle and a set of pins.
