On May 10, 2022, at the Qualcomm 5g summit in San Diego, Qualcomm technologies officially announced that its most advanced snapdragon X70 5g modem and RF system supported new functions, including Qualcomm smart transmit3 0 technology, which brings excellent radio frequency performance and the world's first 5g millimeter wave independent networking connection, realizes the ultra-high speed rate of completing a 120 minute 4K film in 34 seconds.
The Xiaolong X70 released in February can get these feature upgrades, which comes from its scalable architecture. At present, Xiaolong X70 has begun to sample customers, and the commercial mobile terminal equipped with Xiaolong X70 is expected to be available later in 2022. I believe consumers will soon enjoy these features.
Two features comprehensively improve 5g experience
The two new features supported by Xiaolong X70 this time are Qualcomm smart transmit 3.0 technology. This technology enables Xiaolong X70 to intelligently optimize various wireless communications such as 2G to 5g, millimeter wave, Wi Fi (2.4GHz 6 / 6e / 7) and Bluetooth, so as to achieve real-time average transmission power, thus bringing excellent RF performance.
Previously, Qualcomm smart transmit 1.0 technology not only mainly supported the optimal uplink throughput, but also met the technical requirements of the upper transmission limit; Qualcomm smart transmit 2.0 technology optimizes the average time and space power in order to adapt to the characteristics of multiple built-in antennas of mobile phones, so as to enhance the connection reliability and reduce dropped lines at the same time; Qualcomm smart transmit 3.0 technology also includes the transmission power of Wi Fi and Bluetooth antenna, carries out unified intelligent scheduling management, and comprehensively optimizes users' comprehensive wireless experience to a new height.
Second, Xiaolong X70 has realized 5g millimeter wave independent networking connection for the first time in the world, realizing the peak downlink rate of 8.3gbps. Millimeter wave independent networking can support the aggregation of eight 100MHz bandwidth carriers in the 26ghz band. In other words, it takes only 34 seconds to download a 4K movie with a length of 120 minutes. In other aspects, Xiaolong X70 also supports 5gsub-6ghz carrier aggregation across three TDD channels, which can achieve a peak download speed of up to 6gbps. It only takes 48 seconds to download a 4K movie in 120 minutes. It can also maintain a higher average uplink and downlink rate and stable connection in a complex network environment. It supports millimeter wave carrier bandwidth of up to 200MHz and millimeter wave independent Networking (SA) mode, millimeter wave spectrum of up to 1GHz and sub-6ghz spectrum aggregation of 300MHz across FDD and TDD bands, and upgrades 5g network construction and user 5g connection experience.
