The decision on administrative punishment pointed out that Wanda film did not clearly explain the use of "film viewing coupon" in relevant advertisements and instructions.
Beijing Chaoyang District market supervision and Administration Bureau believes that the above-mentioned acts of Wanda film violated the first paragraph of Article 8 of the advertising law. According to relevant regulations, Wanda Film Co., Ltd. was fined 10000 yuan and ordered to correct the illegal acts.
Article 8 of the advertising law stipulates that if an advertisement expresses the performance, function, origin, purpose, quality, composition, price, producer, term of validity, promise, etc. of a commodity, or the content, provider, form, quality, price, promise, etc. of a service, it shall be accurate, clear and clear. If an advertisement indicates that the goods or services to be promoted are accompanied by gifts, it shall clearly indicate the variety, specification, quantity, time limit and method of the goods or services to be accompanied by gifts. The contents that should be clearly stated in advertisements as stipulated by laws and administrative regulations shall be obvious and clear.
