The relevant person in charge of Jianchuan Museum told Tianmu news that the specimen of "pig strong" has not been placed yet and is expected to be officially displayed in the afternoon of May 12.
"Strong pig" was originally a pig owned by Wan Xingming, a villager in Tuanshan village, Longmenshan Town, Pengzhou City, Chengdu. On May 12, 2008, the Wenchuan earthquake occurred, "pig strong" was buried under the ruins for 36 days and miraculously survived by rain and charcoal. On June 17, 2008, "pig strong" was rescued from the ruins by rescue workers. Its weight was reduced from 150 kg to 50 kg. On June 16, 2021, the 14-year-old "pig strong" died of old age and exhaustion.
