The parents of the dead woman who committed suicide in the 2017 Activision snowstorm recently requested that the lawsuit be withdrawn. They previously claimed that the sexual harassment culture of Activision Blizzard was the main cause of Kerri Moynihan's suicide at the age of 32. This lawsuit was also cited when the California government sued Activision Blizzard.

On May 6, Moynihan's parents asked the California court to revoke "all claims" they initiated in March. And what they require is a substantive settlement and withdrawal of the lawsuit, which means that they will not have the right to re initiate a lawsuit in the future.

In the initial lawsuit, the parents of the deceased believed that the spread of Moynihan's private photo among the employee group directly led to the suicide. The parents of the deceased also claimed that Moynihan's immediate superior concealed his relationship with the deceased from the police. The supervisor then left the company.

The parents of the deceased did not publicly explain the reasons for the withdrawal.
