It's time for the Microsoft Flight Simulation team to update the world again. Following improvements in Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and Andorra in March, Italy and Malta are upgrading this time. Like the previous free supplement, the Ninth World update has brought new modeled cities to further upgrade these areas, as well as handmade airports, new activities and more.
In this update, 20 cities have received graphic upgrades, including Rome, Naples, Venice and Milan. These works are completed with "digital elevation modeling, aerial and satellite images, and triangular irregular network (TIN) modeling".
The authorities handled the airports of Palermo, sundrio, Marina Di campo and Bolzano manually. Now, players can also find more than 100 new interest points in Italy and Malta, which are handmade by the studio. Other upgrades and changes include three fresh jungle travel plans, one discovery flight and one landing challenge, and 100 airports, with more details than before.
Microsoft Flight Simulation 9th World update - Italy and Malta upgrade packages are now available to PCs, Xbox Series x|s and Xbox cloud game players, as well as Xbox and PC game users.
