The BBC announced that one of the 72 concerts planned from July to September this year will be themed with video game music. This is the BBC's first game themed concert. The dance will be performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and directed by Robert Ames, who has conducted dances on "sound pioneer" and science fiction film music.
The concert will be held at the Royal Albert Concert Hall on August 1, local time.
At present, the concert has confirmed the soundtrack of battlefield 5 (14 minutes), dear Esther (4 minutes), the heart of the Kingdom (4 minutes) and Wanda and the Colossus (8 minutes). After the concert, it will be broadcast on BBC TV on August 5, UK time.
