Disney officially announced a new original derivative of Star Wars - "Star Wars: skeleton crew", starring Jude Law, which was launched in 2023. It was made public at the Star Wars Celebration. Star Wars: key crew was created by Spider Man 3 director Jon watts and screenwriter Christopher Ford, with Jon feru and Dave Filoni as producers.

Star Wars: the backbone crew is about a group of 10-year-old children from asteroids who have lost their way in the distant galaxy and have to find their way home. The story takes place after the movie star wars: return of the Jedi, and adapts to the timeline of Star Wars: Mandalorians and Star Wars: Ahsoka.
In addition to Star Wars: key crew, Disney also announced that the third season of Star Wars: Mandalorians will be broadcast in February 2023.
