In the global chip field, whether it is the supply of high-end chips or wafer foundry, a few leading manufacturers often occupy most of the market share, and some fields are even completely occupied by a few manufacturers. According to the latest report of the Research Institute, Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix and micron technology accounted for the vast majority of DRAM, exceeding 90% last year.
According to the data of research institutions, Samsung Electronics had DRAM sales of US $41.9 billion last year, accounting for 43.6% of the global market, and remains the world's largest DRAM manufacturer.
Samsung, the second largest DRAM supplier in South Korea, accounted for 26.7% of DRAM's sales last year.
Micron technology was the third largest DRAM supplier in the world last year, with annual sales of US $21.9 billion, a year-on-year increase of 41% and a market share of 22.8%.
Overall, Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix and micron technology accounted for 94.1% of the global DRAM market last year.
The report of the research institute also shows that the global DRAM sales last year was US $96.1 billion, and Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, which accounted for 71.3% of the market share, have begun to use extreme ultraviolet lithography to produce DRAM.
