According to new atlas, farmers and ranchers have a lot of work to do in a day. The company said that the final version of the evtol will weigh less than 300 pounds (136 kilograms), have a range of 25 miles (40 kilometers), a top speed of 63 miles (101 kilometers / hour), and can take off and land on land and water. It will also use six separate propulsion systems, each powered by a removable battery pack - which means that operators will be able to quickly replace depleted batteries with freshly charged spare parts as needed.
According to ryse, Recon's design is easy to mass produce, low maintenance costs and easy to fly. The latter will be possible due to the use of flight algorithms based on artificial intelligence and simplified control systems.
Possible applications of the aircraft include land surveying, locating lost cattle and crop weeding. In fact, it can be configured in different ways according to its intended use - and may even provide a model with fixed wings to achieve faster and more efficient forward flight.
It is reported that the company does have a functional prototype and will release detailed specifications when it approaches the planned commercial launch of the aircraft early next year.
