According to RIA Novosti, Jaroslav nilov, chairman of the labor, social policy and Veterans Affairs Committee of the Russian State Duma (lower house of parliament), said that Russia will implement a four-day work week in the near future. Nilov said that the facts during the COVID-19 show that with the continuous improvement of technology, it is entirely possible for people to find a normal balance between work and free time.
With the introduction of artificial intelligence technology, some conventional labor will be gradually completed by equipment and technology, which enables people to save time to "invest in themselves and their intelligence".
"At present, the digital revolution is taking place in the world. Enterprises need less and less physical strength and more and more intelligence. People are changing from workers to machine operators. Therefore, the reform of working conditions is mature," nilov concluded (compiled / Liu Yang)
