According to the latest foreign media reports, during the Davos world economic forum held in Davos, Switzerland, Nokia CEO Pekka lundmark said at a panel discussion that 6G is expected to be commercially available around 2030.
Peka lundmark also said at the panel discussion that when 6G network is dominant, smart phones will not still be dominant as they are now, and smart phones will no longer be the most common devices.
6G will be put into commercial use around 2030, which is basically in line with the expectation that the global mobile communication will be updated by an average of about 10 years. Many manufacturers who are developing 6G related technologies also expect that 6G will be put into commercial use around 2030.
