Some online stores sell fake and shoddy products under the banner of big manufacturers. Although they can make a profit for a while, once they are prosecuted, they will face a large amount of compensation. In the end, the gains outweigh the losses. On May 30, it was reported that the people's Court of Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province recently announced a case of infringement of Huawei's trademark and unfair competition. The defendant was Shenzhen Jinyun video equipment Co., Ltd.
Access:
After investigation, Jinyun company constituted an unfair competition act of trademark infringement and false publicity. It was ordered to immediately stop the unfair competition act of infringement and false publicity, and compensate Huawei for 1million yuan.
The information of the case shows that the defendant used the trademarks of "Huawei", "Huawei" and "freebugs" without authorization, and used the words "official authentic Huawei special" and "official original" in the product page, which are false propaganda. Huawei requires Jinyun company to immediately stop such acts of unfair competition, compensate economic losses and reasonable rights protection costs of 3million yuan and bear relevant litigation costs.
Jinyun is not the only company selling counterfeit products under the banner of Huawei. In April this year, another Shenzhen company "user defined Technology Co., Ltd." sold products such as "gusoll Huawei neck hanging Bluetooth running noise reduction headset" and "gusoll Huawei headset wired typc-c headset" on JD platform on a large scale, which constituted an infringement and was sentenced to compensate Huawei 150000 yuan.
