Although Samsung may be one of the mainstream manufacturers of foldable smart phones, its pioneering significance in the industry has been decreasing, because more manufacturers will join in every year; Oppo, vivo, Huawei and honor all have at least one model on the market. And Motorola, which has released two generations of Razr series of folding screens, and more products are under development.
Next, the flagship device code named Maven has added the top hardware configuration for the first time. It is planned to be released in the summer. Now we see its appearance for the first time.
The completely redesigned Maven is more similar to Galaxy Z flip3 than Razr or Razr 5g. Compared with its predecessors, Maven is slightly square (it also cancels the screen chin and repositions the fingerprint sensor to the power key). It tries to improve its imaging effect with dual rear cameras, as Samsung did on flip. These cameras include a 50 megapixel f / 1.8 main camera and a 13 megapixel wide-angle and macro combination sensor. Its selfie camera is located on the folding FHD + internal display screen and is a 32 million pixel punching module.
Motorola initially planned to provide two configured products: one is Qualcomm snapdragon generation 8 chip, and the other is the undeclared plus version of the chip (sm8475). However, it is reported that due to the late delivery of the latter's SOC, it is unclear how moto plans to implement the SKU using the chip. The matched storage configuration consists of 8GB or 12gb memory and 256gb or 512gb flash memory.
The next generation Razr will be available in quartz black and quiet blue at the end of July or early August. It will be first listed in China and then launched worldwide. Usually, Motorola's new product launch is accompanied by their significantly lower pricing.
