Excel is one of the most frequently used spreadsheet software in business and personal fields. Although Microsoft regularly updates Excel to provide more functions, it occasionally removes some functions that are not frequently used Microsoft today announced that it will stop supporting three functions from June 2023. These features are available to Microsoft 365 customers, so only subscribers to the service will be affected
● Money
This is essentially a dynamic template that enables users to securely connect to their bank's data and synchronize information directly. It will not update your transaction after June 30, 2023. You will not be able to reconnect to your existing financial account or connect to a new financial account.
However, you will be able to keep your current data and Microsoft will not be able to access it. The Redmond technology giant suggested that people use other advanced budget templates provided in Excel or migrate to tiller. The latter provides more functions than money in Excel, but it also charges an additional $79 per year (Microsoft 365 customers can try it for 60 days for free).
● wolfram data type
Microsoft announced a partnership with wolfram a few years ago, but now it has decided not to renew the contract. Microsoft will now focus on its own solutions. From June 11, 2023, the refresh of existing data types and the connection with new data types will stop working. That is, your existing data will not be deleted, but will no longer be connected to the wolfram service.
● cancellation of partner benefits
Microsoft also canceled the partner offer because the company wanted to explore other areas that could add more value to its customers. Although the company did not disclose more details, it has informed that if you register any products and services, you must redeem it before June 30, 2023, and then it will disappear forever.
