LG Launches The First OLED Game Display In Ultragear Series

LG announced the launch of a new ultragear series game display, including 32gq950, 32gq850 and 48gq900, all of which provide HDMI 2.1 interface and support variable refresh rate (VRR). LG said that with the new design language, the latest display technology and a series of games and connection functions, these ultragear series game displays can meet the needs of game players.

48gq900 is the first OLED game display of LG ultragear series, which won two awards: if and red dot. Equipped with a 47.5-inch 4K OLED screen, it has a 120Hz refresh rate (OC up to 138hz), a response time of 0.1ms, a dci-p3 color gamut of 98.5%, supports hdr10, is compatible with NVIDIA g-sync and AMD freesync premium, and adopts LG's anti glare low reflection (aglr) coating. In terms of display interface, it is equipped with one display port interface and three HDMI 2.1 interfaces.

The HDPs 48900 is also designed for the convenience of the game, as well as the HDPs 48S. LG said the game display has impeccable color accuracy and a completely borderless design.

32gq950 adopts a 31.5-inch 4K nano IPS display with 144hz refresh rate (OC up to 160hz), response time of 0.1ms, peak brightness of 1000 nits and dci-p3 color gamut of 98%. It has obtained VESA displayhdr 1000 certification and is compatible with NVIDIA g-sync and AMD freesync premium pro. It is LG's first game display equipped with ATW technology. In terms of display interface, it is equipped with one display port interface and three HDMI 2.1 interfaces.

Like 32gq950, 32gq850 adopts a 31.5-inch nano IPS display with a resolution of 2K. It has obtained VESA displayhdr 600 certification and also supports ATW technology. In short, 32gq850 is a 32gq950 with slightly reduced specification.

In addition, LG's two ultragear series game displays took the lead in obtaining adaptive sync certification, with models 27gp950 and 27gp850. This is the world's first game display certified by the VESA adaptive sync display, indicating that it has passed the compliance test of adaptive sync display CTS and VESA DisplayPort.
