Lenovo upgraded the AIO 7 all-in-one computer, which is a 27 inch, 4K, all-in-one desktop computer with a screen that can rotate 90 degrees. The new AIO will not be sold in North America but in "other specific geographical markets" Pricing has not yet been announced. Last year's model started at $1599. The new feature of this model is that owners can wirelessly project their smartphone screen onto a 27 inch rotary display. (the phone must support DLNA, airplay, miracast or lelink)
Computers that can rotate the screen have attracted much attention in the market recently, partly due to the growth of vertical video format on social media, which may attract creators who edit videos and photos in the space. It may also be a potentially funny way to experience tiktok.
Internally, the device is driven by < a data link = "1" href = "" target = "_blank" > AMD's ryzen 6000 processor and the optional AMD radeon Rx 6600m graphics card. Like last year's model, the laptop can be inserted into AIO 7 through usb-c, and the two devices can be controlled with the same peripherals.
Rotating displays did not start with AIO 7. Some < a data link = "1" href = "" target = "_blank" > TV products and Chrome OS desktops have been involved in the past, but it is still unusual to see rotating displays in all-in-one computers. Lenovo today announced some other devices in the yoga and ideapad series, many of which give priority to combining power with portability. AIO is an interesting solution for those who need more screen space.
