ITC Officially Announced That It Had Launched 337 Investigations On TCL And Ruiyu Semiconductor

On June 1, the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) voted to conduct a 337 investigation on some graphic systems, components and digital TVs containing these graphic systems. The investigation was initiated based on the complaint of AMD in the United States and its Canadian subsidiaries on May 5. The enterprises complained include TCL electronics, Ruiyu semiconductor, etc. Amd requested USITC to issue a limited exclusion order and a stop order in the complaint.

According to the official information of USITC, USITC will appoint an administrative judge to conduct an evidence hearing and make a preliminary decision on whether to violate Article 337 on this basis. The Department will set a target date for completing the investigation within 45 days after the investigation starts.

Prior to this, Ruiyu semiconductor has responded that this incident had no impact on the company's operation, but the company would not comment on the relevant details.
