When promoting their own products, manufacturers often make great efforts to find highlights and compare competing products. Even giants like apple compare the M2 performance with Intel's ancient eight generation core. Today, Dachang qunlian electronics, the master of SSD, released enterprise PCIe 4.0 SSD master new product "e18dc" **, and two reference designs, which surprised people in the performance introduction.
Qunlian did not disclose the specific specifications of e18dc master control. The general rate is to adjust and strengthen enterprise level features on the basis of consumer level E18. Instead, it focuses on two reference schemes, one is m.2280 epr3750, and the other is m.22110 epr3760.
Epr3750 adopts PCIe 4.0 X4 specification, supports nvme 1.4, adopts 112 layer stacked 3D TLC flash memory, with capacity of 480gb, 960gb and 1.92tb, sequential read-write performance of 6.6gb/s and 1.4gb/s, and 4K random read-write performance of 640000 IOPs and 50000 IOPs**
This speed is very average. Compared with the PCIe 3.0 solution, that is, sequential reading is faster, and others are of the same grade.
In comparison with competitive products, grouplink also honestly listed that its own scheme lags behind in three aspects: sequential writing and random reading and writing, and only emphasized "excellent performance in applications dominated by continuous reading"
In addition, the power consumption of epr3750 is also relatively low. The write state is no more than 11W, and the idle state is less than 3W.
Epr3750 has started to send samples, and epr3760 will send samples in the second half of the year.
