Following the announcement earlier this month that its new production line in Turin, Italy, was put into use, micro mobility systems Ag launched the "pioneer" limited edition of little iseta, the microlino urban micro electric vehicle
Micro mobility systems Ag started selling electric scooters in 1999 and decided to launch electric vehicles at the 2016 Geneva auto show, expanding to other micro mobility solutions. The electric vehicle was completely redesigned in 2020 and further adjusted on the road of production.
The company's new 3000 square meter assembly line will eventually produce a microlino electric vehicle every 20 minutes, but the current focus is to launch the pioneer series models, with a limit of 999 micro electric vehicles. Microlino is designed for modern urban life. It uses a 12.5 kW motor, which can produce 89 nm (65.6 LB ft) torque, with a maximum speed of 90 km / h (56 mph), and provides 230 liters of trunk space for shopping. Its size allows three microlino electric vehicles to squeeze into a standard parking space side by side.
The production of microlinos will mainly use European components and provide three different versions and three battery configurations, up to 14 kwh, which can realize 230 kilometers (143 miles) per charge. The 515kg (1135 lb) pioneer version is equipped with a 10-5kwh lithium-ion battery pack. It can travel 177km (110 miles) on a single charge and can be charged from a wall socket at home in four hours.
Each individually numbered car will have Atlantic blue and Turin aluminum finishes to choose from, which will be unique to this version. Advanced interior materials include artificial leather and suede. The sunroof is standard, so drivers can feel the wind blowing through their hair on sunny days. Although the mini car does not have a built-in infotainment system, it is indeed equipped with a portable Bluetooth speaker to play songs from a paired smartphone.
The base price of microlino is 12500 euros (about 13000 US dollars), which is currently open for booking through the company's website. More details on the vehicle configuration and production schedule of the three major models are expected later this month, as well as the introduction of a special pioneer membership level.
