Ig metall of Berlin Brandenburg Saxony, where Tesla's factory is located, said it would support any employee who opposed Musk's ultimatum. Tesla has about 4000 employees in Germany and plans to expand the number of employees to 12000.

"According to German law, whoever disagrees with this unilateral demand and opposes this position will get the support of Trade Union forces." Birgit Dietze, regional leader of the German metal industry union, said.

In February this year, the employees of Tesla's plant in greenhead, Germany, elected 19 people to join its first workers' committee, making this plant different from Tesla's factories without union representatives in the United States and other places. Musk strongly opposes this.
