Dell has opened the pre order of its ultrasharp 32 4K conference display, a display product that includes a built-in 4K webcam and a package of advanced display functions The main function of Dell ultrasharp 324k conference display is an integrated camera, which is designed for video conferencing and network calls. The company first released the display at CES in January.
Different from the relatively poor image quality camera usually seen on the laptop, the webcam of this display adopts Sony starvis CMOS sensor supporting HDR, automatic light adjustment, AI automatic viewfinder, improved definition for video conference, and more.
The camera has passed the certification of Microsoft teams, and includes some privacy and productivity features, such as enabling and disabling the privacy masking function of safeshutter, and the option to easily mute or unmute yourself during a call. On the audio side, it has a dual array microphone with echo cancellation and 14W speakers.
In addition to the camera, the display itself has impressive specifications. An hdr400 certified 4K display with 98% dci-pc coverage, 100% sRGB color coverage and 400 nits brightness. As for the input port, it has an unspecified HDMI port with HDCP 2.2, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a usb-c 3.1 Gen 2 port, and a usb-c Gen 2/displayport 1.4 supporting alt mode, with a power output of 90W.
Its downstream ports include four usb-a 3.2 ports, a usb-c port, 15W power transmission, a usb-a 3.2 port +battery charging 1.2 specification, an output DisplayPort, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and a headphone jack.
The ultrasharp 32 4K conference display is currently orderable at $1599.99. It is expected to start shipping to customers in late July.
