Over the past decade, the cumulative fixed asset investment of civil aviation has reached 800billion yuan, exceeding 100 billion yuan in recent two years, a record high. During this period, a total of 67 new transport airports were built, 15 were relocated, the number of transport airports reached 250, 84 new runways, 8million square meters of terminal buildings and 3000 aircraft slots were added, and the total design capacity of airports nationwide exceeded 1.4 billion person times, effectively alleviating the shortage of facility capacity. At the same time, we will accelerate the construction of a modern comprehensive transportation hub with the airport as the core, and the rail access rate of the hub airport will reach 71.4%; The world's leading "three air traffic control centers" (Civil Aviation Operation Management Center, meteorological center and information management center) have been built and put into operation, and the refined service capacity has been significantly improved; We promoted the construction of civil aviation safety test bases and scientific and technological innovation demonstration areas, and significantly enhanced the industry's scientific research and innovation support capacity.
In addition, dongzhiyi introduced that after the "March 21" China Eastern Airlines mu5735 aircraft flight accident, in accordance with China's relevant laws and regulations and the relevant provisions of the international civil aviation industry, the Civil Aviation Administration of China launched the technical investigation of the accident, and published the preliminary report and briefing on the accident investigation on April 20. At present, the accident investigation department is in strict accordance with the investigation procedures, and continues to carry out in-depth inspection of debris and data evidence, analysis of flight data, experimental verification and other related work. Subsequently, with the progress of the investigation, CAAC will release the progress and relevant information of the accident technical investigation in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the law and regulations.
