According to the investigation of the association, four Baoneng Guanzhi auto Direct stores in Jinan have been closed, and the manufacturer's service phone has been cancelled. To this end, the association mailed an inquiry letter to the headquarters of Baoneng group, which belongs to Guanzhi brand. The letter was also returned because people went to the building empty.
On May 10, the reporter repeatedly dialed the headquarters of Baoneng group and the phone has not been connected. In addition, the reporter also found that at present, the safety certificate of Guanzhi automobile official website has expired for nearly half a year, and the 400 official service hotline can not be connected.
Du Yueming (a pseudonym), the person in charge of a Guanzhi automobile after-sales service network, told reporters that Guanzhi automobile had two sets of after-sales service systems. At present, all the after-sales networks belonging to Baoneng group have been closed, leaving only a few original Guanzhi automobile after-sales networks, while some Baoneng group dealers have declared bankruptcy before even finishing the decoration.
Du Yueming pointed out that he has signed an after-sales service contract for five years, and there are only two after-sales outlets in the Yangtze River Delta. Guanzhi automobile users in the whole Yangtze River Delta can only go to these two stores for maintenance and repair. Moreover, at present, Guanzhi automobile quality assurance system is paralyzed, and users cannot apply for vehicle quality assurance.
Another person in the industry also told reporters that Baoneng dealers suffered serious losses and invested a huge amount of store rent, decoration expenses, authorization expenses, entering cars from manufacturers and other expenses, but the poor sales of cars had little effect.
Public information shows that Guanzhi automobile was established in 2007. During the period of being controlled by Chery Automobile, the sales volume of Guanzhi automobile continued to be depressed, and its performance also suffered losses for years. It lost 2.2 billion yuan in 2014, 2.5 billion yuan in 2015 and 1.9 billion yuan in 2016. At the end of 2017, Baoneng group spent 6.63 billion yuan to acquire 51% of the shares of Guanzhi automobile, and officially became the controlling shareholder of Guanzhi automobile. Later, Baoneng group increased the price by 1.56 billion yuan to purchase 12% of the shares. Now Baoneng group holds 63% of the shares of Guanzhi automobile.
After being acquired by Baoneng group, the sales volume of Guanzhi automobile has increased greatly in a short time, but it has not yet formed a large-scale. Over the years, only one Guanzhi 7 new model has been listed, which has not aroused waves in the market. Today, the major automobile manufacturing bases of Baoneng group are "in a mess", and the Guangzhou base that first started construction has not been completed.
At present, Baoneng group itself has fallen into a debt crisis. Tianyancha information shows that Baoneng group has been listed as the executee 67 times, with a total amount of 24.1 billion yuan. Yao Zhenhua, chairman of Baoneng group, was also issued consumption restriction orders 14 times.
Shandong Automobile Circulation Association said that through the understanding of the association, Baoneng automobile under Baoneng group currently has serious business problems, and no response has been received so far. Therefore, the association included Baoneng Guanzhi automobile brand in the consumption blacklist and warned consumers to buy Guanzhi brand cars carefully.
However, Baoneng group does not seem to care about the doubts in the industry. In late March this year, the official account of Baoneng group published an article. Yaozhenhua, who was questioned about "running away", appeared in Baoneng automobile's Shenzhen factory to check the resumption of work and production. According to the article, the on-the-job rate of Baoneng automobile Shenzhen factory on March 21 was 99.4%, and the four process workshops and functional departments have fully resumed work.
