Astronauts From The International Space Station Took Pictures Of The Grand Canyon From Space

A recent photo taken by ESA astronaut Samantha cristoforetti is close to containing the awe of the natural miracle of the Grand Canyon in the United States Cristoforetti shared the fascinating scenery of the US National Park on social media last week.

The picture shows that in the brown and red scenery, the misty clouds outline the winding branch lines of the canyon.

"Peeping through the clouds... The Grand Canyon! The amazing rock formations make @astrou Watkins (Jessica Watkins) smile, but also full of vitality. In its impressive altitude span, it is the home of various ecosystems," the astronaut wrote. Watkins is a NASA astronaut and the current crew member of the international space station. Watkins' scientific background includes his Ph.D. in geology and his research on landslides on earth and Mars.

Cristoforetti has been working since arriving at the international space station with the SpaceX crew-4 mission crew in April. She showed off her photographic skills last time she was on the international space station, and she hasn't missed a step since then.
