High end portable audio brand Astell & amp; Kern has just had a busy week, in addition to the fourth family member who launched the performance class Kann digital audio player, it also brought a pair of in ear monitoring headphones jointly built with campfire audio** First, the Kann Max digital audio player, which supports high impedance fever headphones and has 15 VRMs power output, is introduced. Its performance is better than the alpha launched in 2020, but it has a more compact and lightweight shape (retaining the iconic edges and corners).

The Kann Max digital audio player has a size of 2.68 × four point six × 0.92 in. (68.3 in.) × one hundred and seventeen × 23.6mm), and it is the first product in Kann family to use es9038q2m digital to analog converter (DAC).
Through the redesigned circuit, while slightly increasing the output power, each power amplifier channel of the equipment also has lower noise performance. Astell& Kern also used teraton alpha sound technology for the machine to fulfill its promise of "playing close to the original sound quality".
In terms of function, Kann Max can play locally stored high-resolution audio files up to 32-bit / 768 kHz PCM, natively support dsd512, and adjust the song volume level up to 24 bit / 192 kHz.
In terms of wireless, the machine supports Bluetooth 5.0 (24 bit aptx HD / LDAC) and Wi Fi 4 (802.11n) content streaming, and wirelessly drag and drop files to mobile devices through PC.
The user can listen through the 2.5 / 4.4 mm balanced head, or plug in the 3.5 mm unbalanced gold-plated PVD port, and through the 4.1 inch @ 720 × 1280 touch screen to control playback, and wheel volume adjustment / LED bit rate indicator.
In terms of processor, Kann Max has a built-in quad core CPU. In terms of storage, the machine has 64GB ROM on board and supports microSD expansion. In addition, a 5600 MAH polymer lithium battery supporting fast charging is built in, with a battery life of up to 13 hours.
Finally, Kann Max will go on sale in the middle of next month at a price of US $1300 (about 8826 RMB).

Followed by Astell & amp; Pathfinder IEM, released by Kern in cooperation with campfire audio, an advanced handmade earphone manufacturer, is an in ear monitoring earphone, which is characterized by the first use of dual cavity drive technology.
In addition, the headset combines a dual diaphragm balanced armature / custom dynamic drive unit, which claims to reproduce the intermediate frequency naturally, supplemented by a smoother and extended high-frequency performance.
The headset also introduces radial ventilation technology for the first time, wrapping the 10mm dynamic drive unit in the sound chamber of 3D printing, and ventilation through each front opening to ensure strong bass and medium frequency, so as to bring a wider sound field to the audience.
The Pathfinder IEM comes with three different cables that allow users to freely connect to any balanced / unbalanced audio jack on the Kann Max and comes with earplugs of various sizes.
Finally, Pathfinder IEM will be available in mid July for $1900 (12899 RMB).
