According to Bloomberg reporter mark gurman, apple is planning to launch an enhanced lock screen for the first time in IOS 16, improve multitasking in ipados 16, improve navigation in watchos 9, add smart home functions in tvos 16, and redesign built-in applications in MacOS 13.
In the latest issue of "power on" newsletter, gurman outlined his understanding of Apple Expectations of all operating systems to be launched soon. The scope of improvement covers IOS 16 and ipad OS 16, watchos 9, tvos 16, and MacOS 13.
It is reported that apple is planning to introduce changes to the lock screen in IOS 16, including wallpapers with similar gadget functions. Previously, we also reported that the constant light lock screen function matched with hardware functions will eventually come. With regard to the ipados 16, gurman predicted "significant changes in windows and multitasking", while the tvos 16 is said to gain "more smart home connectivity".
Gurman predicts that ios/macos built-in messaging applications will get "more functions similar to social networks, especially around audio information". Health apps are not expected to be extended to ipados or MacOS, but it is said that there will be "a lot of new features" with the iPhone and apple watch.
Watchos 9 is said to include "significant improvements in watchos that affect daily operation and navigation", as well as changes in Apple watch dial and new low-power mode.
MacOS 13 will comprehensively reform the system preference interface to make it more consistent with the setting application experience of IOS, including organizing settings by application and other redesign of the default application.
