To use this feature, users can navigate to Apple's translation app, which now hosts a live camera view.
Apple also plans to improve dictation, which can be used as a barrier free tool. Apple says dictation is used more than 18billion times a month because it is faster than typing. However, we have all received a text message from an elderly family member. The punctuation is very awkward. You know they use dictation. Now, Apple plans to improve automatic punctuation. In addition, it will allow you to add emoticons by voice -- as they said in their WWDC keynote, "emoticons that shake the heart.".
The new dictation feature will also make it easier to switch back and forth between typing and dictation, making the switch between voice and touch more seamless. However, when it comes to sending text messages, the most anticipated update may be the ability to edit and cancel sending messages.
