The so-called TOD refers to the space integrating station and city. The station hub takes subway, light rail, bus and other public transport stations as the center and establishes a central square or urban center with a radius of 400 to 800 meters.

It is understood that Hangzhou West Railway Station is located in Cangqian street, Yuhang District, Hangzhou. The station building covers an area of about 510000 square meters. The total scale of the station is 11 sets and 20 lines (including 4 main lines). The whole elevated station scheme is adopted.
The station building has 9 floors, including 4 underground floors and 5 above ground floors The station gathers a variety of transportation modes such as high-speed railway, subway, bus, taxi and social vehicles, and fully considers the integration of station and city in the functional layout.
Hangzhou West Railway Station canopy comprehensive development project is located at the four corners above the canopy of the station building of the East-West passenger drop off platform of the station, and the vertical position is above the canopy layer. The total land area of the project is about 47 mu. The planned business types include commerce, office, hotel and other transportation facilities.
It is estimated that from the exit to the canopy, the whole process is less than one minute, passengers can seamlessly stay in the hotel for rest after getting off the train, and enterprises covered with the canopy can also realize the arrival and office , which greatly reduces the time cost of travel transfer.
