Nintendo shipped 4.11 million game console switches in the latest fiscal quarter (January March), bringing its total shipment this fiscal year to 23.06 million, just reaching its revised forecast of 23 million. The company initially predicted shipments of 25.5 million units this fiscal year, followed by 24 million units, which reached its final forecast three months ago. This figure is 20% lower than the previous year's 28.83 million game console shipments. Nintendo said there was a shortage of semiconductors and other components.
