Weigang technology today announced the launch of legend 850 PCIe gen4 X4 m.2 2280 solid state drive (SSD). The new device provides a higher level of performance for advanced design applications such as 3D modeling and animation. Adata legend 850 has a continuous read and write speed of 5000 / 4500mb per second. This makes it three times faster than standard PCIe gen3 SSDs and nine times faster than SATA SSDs.
It supports the latest Intel and AMD platforms, desktops and laptops, and is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 for added convenience.
Legend 850 is equipped with SLC cache and host memory buffer, 4K random read / write performance, 400k / 550K IOPs, LDPC (low density parity check code) and AES 256 bit encryption to provide security. Because it supports PCIe 4.0, it can be installed on ps5 game console as extended storage, and its size conforms to the design of game console slot.
At the same time of launching legend 850, Weigang released a limited edition solid-state drive. The product adopts the artistic works of German pattern designer Mister Fred. The colorful design has complex flower patterns. The limited production of 520 pieces will be launched in June. These SSD products provide 5-year warranty service.
Earlier this spring, Weigang also launched the legend 710 PCIe gen3 X4 m.2 2280 SSD. Legend 710 complies with PCIe gen3 X4 and nvme 1.4 specifications and provides continuous read and write speeds of 2400 / 1800mb per second. Its m.2 2280 specification supports Intel and AMD platforms, including desktop computers and laptops. Weigang provides a 3-year warranty for legend 710.
