Since the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Russia has been blocked by the western world in an all-round way. This list is based on the infamous Wassenaar agreement
In july1996, 33 countries led by the United States signed the agreement in Austria. Nine categories of dual-use goods and technologies, as well as 22 categories of military supplies and technologies, are under blockade. China, in the forbidden countries and so on.
Specifically, Russia and Belarus cannot obtain microprocessors or microcircuits of the following specifications:
- width of arithmetic logic unit shall not exceed 16 bits**
- performance shall not exceed 5gflops (5billion calculations per second)**
- clock frequency shall not exceed 25MHz**
- the number of data bus, instruction bus and serial communication ports connected to the microprocessor shall not exceed 1, and the speed shall not exceed 2.5mb/s**
- chip package pins shall not exceed 144**
- the basic gate transmission delay shall not exceed 0.4 nanoseconds**
- wafer manufacturing equipment and technology using optical photography or X-ray**
It can be said that the semiconductor technology of nearly half a century has nothing to do with Russia. It is not too much to say that it is a night to return to the "Stone Age".
