Firefox 100 users on windows can call hardware accelerated AV1 video decoding when using supported GPU / driver, but Firefox on Linux does not allow hardware accelerated AV1 using newer GPU at present.
Firefox 100 also supports running the players included in Amazon Prime video / YouTube / Netflix video websites in picture in picture mode, supports picture in picture video subtitles of websites using webvtt, and the browser's built-in spelling checker now supports multilingual concurrency, improves the priority between drawing and processing other events, as well as various other small changes. In addition, there are various common bug fixes.
