Mass shooting seems to have become a common phenomenon in the United States, which is a sad fact Defense technology company axon announced that it will use UAVs equipped with Taser guns to quickly and relatively safely solve such incidents

Arizona based Taser gun manufacturing company axon announced its plans to develop UAVs on Thursday. At present, few details about the UAV itself have been released, except that it will be a remotely controlled four rotor aircraft equipped with a dedicated Axion air video camera and a miniaturized Taser electric shock weapon.
The working principle of the Taser gun is to launch two small "darts", each of which is connected to the main equipment through a thin wire. When these "darts" hit people, they give out electric shocks and disturb the individual's nervous system. Ideally, this would only lead to temporary incapacity, although there have been some reports of Taser related deaths.
The UAV will be part of a larger system that will also include a network of security cameras -- in schools, businesses and other locations -- and a VR based training program designed to teach emergency personnel how to deal with active gunmen. Axon hopes that this comprehensive approach will eventually enable the authorities to "stop mass shootings in 60 seconds".
The project partners include fusus, which is developing a camera network, and dronesense, which is developing a real-time UAV control system.
