Last year, when LG pulled out of the mobile market and took its Stylo device with it, the fans of economical pen and pencil mobile phones seemed very sad. Just when Motorola seemed to be using the moto g stylus mobile phone to operate, TCL announced a new device with a built-in stylus: TCL stylus 5g, with a very appropriate name. It is available on T-Mobile today (June 2) for $258.
The stylus 5g includes a 6.81 inch 1080p LCD, MediaTek dimension 700 5g chipset, 4GB memory and 128GB storage. There is a 4000mAh battery -- much smaller than the 5000mAh capacity of Motorola's stylus phone -- and a microSD slot for storage expansion and a headphone jack.
This phone includes some pen centric pre downloads, including the artificial intelligence handwriting to text application developed in cooperation with Nebo. There is also myscript calculator 2, a calculator application that can decipher written equations and store results for future reference. In addition, you can use a stylus to do ordinary things, so that people around you think you are very important.
On the rear panel, TCL stylus 5g provides a 50million pixel main camera, supplemented by a 5million pixel ultra wide angle - two potentially useful rear cameras and two other less useful cameras: a 2million pixel macro and a 2million pixel depth sensor. In front, there is a 13megapixel self timer camera. This mobile phone is equipped with Android 12 system. TCL promises to upgrade the operating system version once and update the security for two years.
At the beginning of this year, Samsung added a stylus to its high-end S22 ultra mobile phone, which is almost omnipotent for the fans of stylus mobile phones. At the lower end of the price range, TCL stylus 5g has joined Motorola in two options: the mid-range Motorola moto g stylus 5g and the lower price pure 4G moto g stylus. Even without LG, 2022 will be a good year for stylus phones.
