Another so-called Google pixel 7 prototype has surfaced, this time from a reddit user who said he bought it on the Facebook marketplace. Google's mobile phones have been leaking in an unusual way for a long time, but even according to the customary way of pixel, this is a strange leak.
This is also the second time that the pixel 7 Pro prototype appeared this week. If you didn't pay attention to it before, someone listed a pixel 7 prototype on eBay. As mishaal Rahman, an Android expert, pointed out, these photos seem to have been taken with another prototype --pixel 7 Pro, which can be seen from the reflection on the smooth back plate of the mobile phone. The person who bought the 7 Pro prototype on Facebook believed that the phone in his hand was used to take these photos.
Google announced the pixel 7 and 7 Pro in advance in the i/o keynote speech last month, revealing the appearance of these devices. Other details are not mentioned. They are likely to be officially unveiled in October and equipped with Android 13 system. These so-called prototypes also don't reveal more information about the mobile phone we can expect - just confirm that it uses a modem different from the pixel 6 series, and that it seems to have a combination of 256gb of storage space and 12gb of memory.
We may not be able to learn more from it. According to the buyer of the prototype, this phone has been working well until it seemed to be erased and disabled remotely a few days ago. It is not surprising that if it is genuine, Google will have such safeguards to prevent the loss of data in the phone. But considering the leaking records of the pixel series, it may not be long before we see another one.
