Samsung is adding a new customization option to its bespoke refrigerator series. For $500, you can print any photo or image you like on the double doors of the device You can choose your favorite artwork, children's graffiti, or just put your own beautiful photos on your fridge.
This option will be available to buyers later this year. If you already have a bespoke refrigerator, you can order the door panel separately and replace it. The cost is $250 per panel, and they take about eight weeks to print and ship.
Samsung's bespoke series refrigerators pay great attention to their modularization and customization in the market. But in the past, you could only choose from a limited number of colors and a few prints (for example, in the UK, you can buy equipment printed with the British flag to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's platinum anniversary).
Letting customers choose to add any image they like will almost certainly lead to some unspeakable refrigerators in people's kitchens, but I suspect this is also one of the charm of this function. Next, it's also interesting to see whether Samsung's customized application restricts any pictures on the grounds of copyright or taste.
