The train hit a debris flow that suddenly collapsed and invaded the line, taxied for more than 900 meters, and then disconnected from the line at Rongjiang station.

He introduced that the derailment of the train means that part of the train has left the track. The braking distance of more than 900 meters means that the subsequent speed is expected to be about oneortwo kilometers per hour, but it is not ruled out that it is affected by the line. Generally speaking, during railway transportation, relevant parties will also have prevention or early warning for natural disasters such as debris flow. On January 15, 2021, d2809 (Guiyang North - Guangzhou south) was officially operated with passengers, which was the first Trans provincial EMU in Southwest China. The starting station of d2809 bullet train is Guiyang North railway station, passing through Longli north, Sandu County, Congjiang, Guilin West, Gongcheng, zhongshanxi, Hezhou and zhaoqingdong, and the terminal station is Guangzhou south railway station.
Rongjiang station is located between Sandu station and Congjiang station. Mr. Chen, a local citizen of Rongjiang County, provided a video shot under the Haohe River Bridge to the upstream journalists. The video shows that a small landslide occurred at the top right of the tunnel entrance of the bridge across the zhaihao River in the direction of Guiyang. Debris fluid intruded into the main line of Guiyang Guangzhou passenger dedicated line, and part of the power supply on the bridge across the zhaihao river was toppled. Mr. Chen said, "the debris piled on the railway track, the harmony came, rushed through the mud pile, twisted into the Rongjiang station, and hit the platform." According to the public information, the Chengdu Bureau of State Railway Group is responsible for the management near the Rongjiang station. According to the information released earlier by the Bureau, the bureau used the newly introduced flood control means this year to "guide the way", requiring the passenger train to notify the on-site patrol personnel to confirm the route conditions and report the train passing information in real time before passing through the key flood control locations. More than 1000 people carried out emergency rescue
After the off-line accident at Rongjiang station of Guiyang Guangzhou railway, the railway department has urgently mobilized forces to carry out on-site rescue. The rescue headquarters organized more than 1000 people to clean up the sludge and inspect and restore the equipment of various disciplines on the site.
