Nicehash, a well-known mining software provider, today announced the upgrade of its quickhash miner, which can unlock 90% of the performance of NVIDIA Lite hash rate (LHR) version 3 The engineer working for nicehash proposed quickminer v0 5.4.2 release candidate, which unlocks 90% of lhrv3 functions.
Lhrv3 on the market has two graphics cards, NVIDIA geforce RTX 3080 12gb version and RTX 3050. When mining, it is limited by the poor computing power of the software. NVIDIA is doing this to transfer these graphics cards from miners to consumers.
Previously, the company has demonstrated its work and enabled 100% unlocking for lhrv2 card, which now covers almost the whole stack. It is only a matter of time before the unlocking rate of lhrv3 reaches 100%. Nicehash recommends using NVIDIA driver version 512.15 or later to get the latest unlock. Some stability issues have been fixed in the version, so users will not have a blue screen when running the mining software.
