On May 7, Beijing time, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, tweeted on Friday that his acquisition of twitter was not encouraged by former US President trump and they had not been contacted. In an interview, Devin Nunes, CEO of Trump's autonomous social application "truth social", said that trump and "truth social" have always supported Musk's acquisition proposal.
"We all support it," Nunez said, referring to Musk's acquisition of twitter. "We encourage musk to acquire it because someone has to continue to challenge these technology tyrants."

Musk denied: "this statement is wrong. I have not communicated with trump directly or indirectly. He has publicly said that he will only post on the 'truth society'."
