Kioxia, the global leader in storage solutions, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Chubu Toshiba engineering, a subsidiary of Toshiba Previously, the two sides signed a share purchase agreement on February 24 to further strengthen the technology development capacity of Kaixia group. By introducing an experienced team of engineers, Kaixia hopes to raise the company's enterprise value to a higher level while improving cost-effectiveness.

Techpowerup pointed out that the acquisition agreement signed with Toshiba digital solutions can play the same role in promoting the design, operation and production of its manufacturing plants while enhancing the technology development capacity of kioxia.
In the announcement on the updated official website on June 1, it can be seen that central Toshiba Engineering Co., Ltd. will conduct business operations as a wholly-owned subsidiary of kioxia in the name of "Kaixia Engineering Co., Ltd.".
At present, with the mission of "improving the world with storage", Kaixia is committed to promoting the development of storage solutions in the new era, including the development of more competitive flash memory and SSD product lines.
