On Tuesday, Intel announced the acquisition of Siru innovations to further enhance its intellectual property (IP) and technical reserves in the graphics field As a company headquartered in Finland, Siru innovations team members have engaged in relevant R & D work in desktop and mobile graphics developers such as AMD, Qualcomm and bitboys.
Balaji kanigicherla, vice president of Intel, said: the inclusion of Siru represents the company's pursuit of leading graphics IP.
Although Siru innovations is not famous in the field of graphics, as the register points out, Mika tuomi, one of the company's co founders, was also a member of future crew.
In the 1980s and 1990s, future crew brought the extremely innovative PC graphic demonstration at that time.
Mika tuomi then founded bitboys and released the most powerful glaze 3D desktop GPU at that time in 1999 (which eventually evolved into vapor ware).
Before being acquired by ATI technologies, bitboys shifted its business focus to mobile graphics. But in 2009, amd reselled its mobile graphics division (and its team members) to Qualcomm.

In 2011, Mike tuomi and Mikko alho, a former bitboys employee, founded Siru innovations and boasted that he was the developer of "low-power graphics IP core" and the mobile graphics service provider.
Mikko alho added in his LinkedIn post:
Since its establishment in 2011, we have established an incredible platform to develop proprietary technology and become a trusted partner in the graphics industry.
Joining Intel also proves our team's deep expertise in customizing GPU IP throughout the design life cycle.
Finally, Raja koduri, head of Intel graphics and former amd executive, interrupted: "I'm glad to work with alho again.".
