Google cloud today announced the launch of its new cloud service area in Dallas, Texas, to continue to expand its footprint in the global data center. This new area marks the company's 11th service area in North America. Globally, the company now offers 34 regions, all of which have three regions as backup to increase redundancy.

With this area, Google now provides a local area for the expanding technology ecosystem in Texas, and as always, existing Google cloud users can now provide their users in this area with lower latency access. The company also pointed out that the Dallas area will provide additional capacity and flexibility for existing users to cover users across the United States.
The new region will provide access to all standard Google cloud products, including computing engine, googlekubernetes engine, cloud storage, cold data storage, cloudsql and cloud identity authentication.
So far, Google has three service areas under construction, which are located in Tel Aviv, Israel, Dammam, Saudi Arabia and Doha, Qatar.
