How many rolls can you buy with a bitcoin? Chipotle, a well-known restaurant chain, now accepts a series of cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, Ethernet and dog coin. Chipotle has cooperated with flexa, a payment platform, to accept cryptocurrencies, digital tokens and digital dollars.
Access:
After customers have established their flexa account, they just need to download the spedn application from the IOS app store or Android play store, link their cryptocurrency wallet and click on what they want to buy, then scan it on the cashier of chipotle, and a QR style code will pop up to complete the payment.
Curt Garner, chief technology officer of chipotle, said in a statement: "we have been exploring innovation to improve our customer experience, including now accepting flexa's digital currency payment in chipotle's American restaurant."
According to flexa's press release, customers can consume digital currency in any of the 2975 chipotle restaurants in the United States, but it is unclear when or whether it will be used in other countries (because flexa also supports Canadian dollar payment). To make this process easier for customers, flexa will offer a 10% discount on their first order - which may be very helpful if someone ends up spending a bitcoin (today's $30264) on tacos.
