Blaze entertainment is a British game console manufacturer. Previously, it also released a household classic game console called evercade vs in December 2021 Recently, blaze announced a new classic game console called evercade exp. These game consoles focus on bringing classic arcade games to modern consoles
Exp includes a faster processor. The company said it would provide similar performance as evercade vs home console, higher resolution screen, built-in WiFi, new l2/r2 trigger and Tate mode button.
Tate mode is designed for arcade games with a vertical screen, allowing players to hold handheld devices upright, but there are still direction keys and two operation buttons at the bottom of the screen.
Tate mode will be widely used in the toaplan aracde 1 arcade game collection cassette that will be sold with the exp handheld. The cassette includes the Tate mode compatible "Alcon", "flying shark", "tiger Heli" and "truxton".
Exp will also include Irem arcade 1 cassette, including six games such as R-type, in the hunt and moon patrol.
It is scheduled to be launched in the winter of 2022, and the price is 129.99 pounds /149.99 dollars /149.99 euros.
As part of the announcement, blaze confirmed that the original evercade handheld computer will be discontinued, and the future cassette is only guaranteed in firmware version 2 X or later on the original evercade handheld computer. The company also said that it will expand the list of platforms that the system can simulate in the coming year. At present, the list includes arcade games and game consoles and portable devices of all ages, from Atari 2600 to the original PlayStation.
