It is reported that a woman was charged with murder after she found her boyfriend cheating on her and ran over him many times in Indianapolis. It seems that she used airtag to track her boyfriend's car** On Friday local time, Andre Smith was repeatedly knocked down by a car outside the tilly's bar in Indianapolis, and emergency personnel found him under the car. The 26 - year-old was declared dead by medical staff on the spot. The coroner's office determined that the car was the cause of death.

According to indystar, a witness said that Gaylyn Morris, the car driver, told them that he tracked Smith with airtag and GPS. Morris said she was Smith's girlfriend and thought he was cheating on her.

After tracking Smith and seeing him talking to a woman in a bar, Morris allegedly picked up an empty bottle and threatened to beat the woman. Smith stopped Morris from beating another woman and trying to get caught between them. Then the bar asked the three to leave.

A witness told police that Morris got into her car and knocked Smith down. Then she turned the car upside down on Smith, drove the car forward, and hit Smith for the third time. Morris then left the vehicle and prepared to attack the woman, but the police arrived and arrested her.

Morris has been initially charged with murder, and the final charges have not been determined.

Apple's airtag has been a controversial topic since its launch. Although Apple includes various anti tracking measures, potential trackers still use the device to track victims. Its abuse has prompted lawmakers to study the tracking label market, and in some cases they have introduced legislation to try to prevent them from being used as tracking devices.
