Michael larabel of technology media Phonix reported that AMD may be preparing another low-end rDNA 2'navi 24'graphics card -- radeon RX 6300 In the Linux 5.19 kernel code updated by AMD, a new Beige goby SKU (called device ID 0x7424) is introduced in the new amdgpu submission.
The Radeon RX 6500 XT
The Radeon RX 6400
This ID has never appeared in the market before, so it can be determined that this SKU is a new product of AMD.
This product uses the beige goby GPU code because the device ID matches the same digital layout with similar GPUs under the same name. This product line is the same low-cost, low-level Navi 24 GPU as AMD's RX 6400 and Rx 6500 XT. Some people speculate that the new SKU may be the update of the two graphics cards mentioned by the company, and its performance is slightly lower than that of the RX 6400 series. This new GPU will also be AMD's third Navi 24 based independent graphics card.
The new radeon RX 6000 graphics card with Navi 24 GPU has no specifications listed. However, amd has manufactured a mobile version of the RX 6300m, which is presumably consistent with the unpublished graphics card. AMD's Rx 6300m is the lowest RX 6000 series GPU at present, similar to the company's integrated GPU radeon 680m for notebook computers.
Amd Rx 6300m has 768 cores, which is similar to RX 6400. Compared with the memory bandwidth of the card, the main difference lies in the clock speed and infinite cache size. The game clock generated by Rx 6300m is up to 1512 MHz and cannot be overclocked. The memory bandwidth can reach 64 gb/s, providing 2 GB of capacity, and the infinite cache size is 8MB, which is very low by today's standards.
